Yes, you can really raise money for you business or project on iLabInvest.  Off course, the decider of the success in raising funds are the investors in our Investor Community.  Your businesses needs to be credible, attractive, backed by interesting entrepreneurs/founders, and more than ever, need to state a strong purpose beyond just wanting to make a profit.  You can signup as a Capital Raiser on our platform and we will manually contact you to hear more from you.  

Crowdfunding is an exciting way for entrepreneurs and founders to pitch and present your ideas directly to investors, without having to convince “people with suits” that traditionally were representers of money and thought only they knew how to pick an investment winner.  

Many good and interesting ideas disappear due to not being selected by traditional institutional investors.  An added, and more interesting, aspect of offering your business to a larger pool of potential investors is that bolder ideas, which might naturally carry a higher risk, could be backed by a large investor base that all invest a small amount in a higher-risk idea and support it to be realized.  These might not only be wild ideas, but also creative ways to challenge large businesses that dominate certain markets that have become in efficient over time.  

At iLabInvest, we’ve taken our unique approach to crowdfunding to fit it best for the Thai market, which is our home base.  As part of iLab, our incubator parent, we look at businesses and entreprenuership a little different than financial investors do.  We combine our own years of entrepreneurial experience in building, investing and co-investing in business and know how long things take, how much hard work is involved and how these are not reflected in business plans.  

We look at these aspects heavily when we vet a potential business, and many times the businesses we offer to our Investor Community are a product of our incubation. In these cases, we are, by default, co-investors and also bring a higher level of trust to the platform.  

We do not have a one-size-fits-all fee for raising funds on our platform.  There are many variables involved and the fees vary in type and amount. 

We are open to hearing from all types of businesses.  Some we will reject due to legal or license reasons, but our inherent interest are businesses that have a strong for-profit social model.  Contact us and we’ll be happy to hear and let you know if your businesses fits our values.

We presently can only provide fund raising for equity.  This is regulated by the SEC and debt financing is the jurisdiction of the Bank of Thailand (BOT).  There is talk about allowing a Debt+Equity offerings in the future, but for now our focus is on equity.  

As we are a platform of only accredited investors there is no limit to how much a business can raise on our platform.
